The yarn world is buzzing – what’s new for the fall winter? What will excite us as an industry. What will excite our customer? Especially since the January show was ho hum at best, the yarn makers and designers had to put their best foot forward. Certainly by the attendance the pressure was on. Thousands flocked to Columbus, Ohio to visit the fashion show prior to placing their orders. Some of the garments elicits murmurs of appreciations from the crowd, some failed to impress. After the show watching the crowds of buyers swarm the venders booths, a theme appeared. This was the season of texture. A season of color. A season to be bold. A season to truly be an artist. I have never been so inspired. Get ready everyone, this is going to be amazing…..
